Are you afraid?
When you think of a Stephen King movie or book, you probably think of intrigue, thrills and fear. There’s a reason for that. King has made a huge name for himself as a writer and as a storyteller. There’s arguably few writers that do it better. One of the most renowned traits of any Stephen King work is how he writes Horror. To the extent that if you see a red balloon floating around you’ll think you’re about to be murdered by a clown. And that’s decades after first seeing IT.
It is not the physical or mental aberration in itself which horrifies us, but rather the lack of order which these aberrations seem to imply.
